ACTIVIDADES EN INGLÉS DEL SECTOR SECUNDARIO

Vamos a trabajar ahora con el cuaderno en inglés.

Primero lee el siguiente texto:

"The secondary sector includes economic activities concerned with transforming raw materials into products that make it possible for humans to meet their needs. These activities are industry, mining, energy production and construction.

Raw materials are natural resources that industry transforms into manufactured or semi-finished products. They can be plant-sourced raw materials, animal-sourced raw materials and geological raw materials.

There are two kinds of energy sources, traditional energy sources including oil, gas, coil, and nuclear energy (non-renewable) and hydroelectric energy; and alternative energy sources, including biomass, wind, solar and geothermal energies (renewable and clean).

There are three industrial areas in the world, historical industrial regions, emerging countries (BRIC) and the least industrialised areas. Industrial Relocation is a process of moving industries to new countries."

El texto es un extracto de lo que llevamos trabajado en el tema, el primer párrafo habla del primer apartado del tema, el Sector Secundario; el segundo párrafo habla de las materias primas y su clasificación; el tercer párrafo habla de las fuentes de energía y el último de la industria y su localización.
